Can you license your music and skip the middleman entirely?
Is it possible to bypass music publishers and music libraries altogether?
Sure!
Bensound is a good example.
But it's tough….
I don't necessarily recommend it, especially if you're just getting started.
Why?
Mostly because it means being much more hands-on with customers, contracts, invoices and taxes.
And that's not counting all the work that goes into setting up a website and driving traffic to it. (Assuming you want to develop your business online)
Still, I understand it's an attractive proposition and I don't want to discourage you from giving it a shot!
